Customers understandably do not want anything to disrupt work so many cleaning commission are conducted at the end of the business day. This is particularly important in the City of London where frantic day time activity contrasts with relative calm once markets have closed.

Capital serves many customers within the City, one of them being Cititec, a specialist recruiter which provides IT experts who understand and develop the sophisticated systems and specialist applications of global banking.

Cititec has 100 computers which are all cleaned every second month. “There was a clear need,” reports Facilities Manager Dave Skevington. “When people are concentrating hard they eat and drink at their desks and equipment inevitably gets greasy.”

According to Dave, everyone notices the improvement after Capital’s team has been in to do an early evening shift. “Our office cleaners did do the computers sometimes but the keyboards were not as clean and we still had smears on screens. Now we see a huge difference.”
