After you’ve shopped until you’ve dropped spare a thought for the poor cash till that has to continue ringing up purchases throughout the retail day. With constant fingertip use tills pick up grease and grime and as the air in and around may have little movement they can easily overheat in warm stores. This can lead to malfunctioning.

Long term customer, Harrods, recently requested a full clean of all the tills within its Knightsbridge store. Capital’s team moved in after closing time, taking apart 600 tills and putting them back together again, freshened up and ready to go.

Whilst PCs may be the main tools of office based businesses, customer tills fulfil a critical role on the shop floor and Capital has a strong base within the retail trade.

It also cleans PCs on the three sites where Harrods has an airport presence: Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow.
