23.04.2008 | 80 new customers choose Capital
Cadbury Schweppes, The John Lewis Partnership and Help the Aged are just three of the many new customers who have selected Capital to provide technical cleaning services.
Capital has taken on responsibility for cleaning the communications room at Cadbury Schweppes’ new office west of London.
Capital carried out specialist cleaning of electronic tills in the new John Lewis shop in Liverpool, helping to transform it from building site to fully fitted department store.
During the last quarter of the 07/08 financial year Capital began working for more than 80 organisations. Contracts range from PC and printer cleaning to the care of communications rooms and large data centres.
New customers are spread across a variety of sectors. In financial services they include Royal Bank of Canada, M & G Finance, insurance companies and pension providers.
Capital has been awarded new contracts with a number of government departments and government-funded bodies, along with several police authorities. Capital’s PC cleaning contract with the DVLA has been extended to three new sites.
New customers in education include London Metropolitan University. Growth in this sector reflects heightened concerns about cross-contamination and the spread of bacteria and viruses, particularly with regard to young adults.
Hospitals and health centres are proving to be a particular growth area for similar reasons.
In the media world, Capital has added Verve Pictures to its customer list, along with CBS Outdoor Ltd, which manages advertising sales on the UK’s buses and trams and on London’s underground system and Docklands Light Railway. Capital continues its close links with the BBC.
On the retail front Capital has renewed contracts with Harrods and River Island.
